The Ecosystem Capacity Building Vertical at NSRCEL empowers incubators to become powerhouses of innovation, equipping them with the tools and expertise to cultivate thriving startups.

We want to fuel the future of entrepreneurship and serve as a multiplier in the ecosystem by democratising entrepreneurship, so that every entrepreneur in the country no matter who or where they are has access to the same kind of opportunities to build thriving and sustainable businesses; rather than replicating our model across the country, we hope to work with you to understand your local demands, as well as leverage your regional advantages to help build incubators and ecosystems for your specific context.

We do this by

Training

We offer hybrid leadership development & program management training to incubation centre heads and team members to equip them with the skills and knowledge they will need to design engaging, efficient, and effective entrepreneurial learning programs, and to build an ecosystem of talent, mentors, investors, and academic and industry partnerships around it.

Strategy & Design

We offer customised strategy & design support to incubators, wherein we can help you discover the ecosystem around you and arrive at a strategic roadmap to work towards sustainability in the coming years; we also work with program managers to co-design, test, and redesign entrepreneurial learning programs as well as establish reliable metrics to track progress.

Products & Technology

We offer access to our online learning portal, knowledge hub, which contains over 500 video resources with all the content your incubator and your startups will need to learn and grow; we are also able to equip you with other industry standard LMS tools, our investment desk, and our trademarked methodology, the ECKNA framework.

Why do incubators need this?

Insights from the India Incubation Kaleidoscope 2024 report by professors from IITM and IIMB show that, even though there are 1,017 incubators in India:

only 8.2% startups choose to join an incubator

of these 90% startups seek support from the top 20% incubators

64% of new startups are from Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions and many of them move to Tier 1 regions to seek incubation support and market access

We believe capacity building in emerging incubators in tier 2 and tier 3 regions of the country can help solve this. We also believe that capacity building for business incubation in TBI’s can accelerate lab to market conversion times, resulting in immense positive ripple effects.

Will you run the program for us?

Our mission is to make your program sustainable. So we will work with you and your teams to empower them to run the program. We will not be running the program for you.

Do you have geographic or other restrictions?

Our mission is to make sure our entrepreneurs don’t have any of these restrictions; so we do not have any of these restrictions as well.
