Eligibility Criteria

Must have a registered for-profit entity or a non-profit entity  

Must be in operations for a minimum period of 1 year   

Must be at an Early Revenue to Growth stage, with a proven POC or Pilots  

Must be tech-enabled or have digitally inclusive innovations solving social problems  

Must be an Impact First venture with direct potential to impact at least 3 UN Sustainable Development Goals

Must directly impact Sustainable Development Goals and the Human Development Index

What is the Impact Orbit- Tech-enabled Social Innovations Program?

NSRCEL’s Impact Orbit program supports Tech-enabled Social Innovations that demonstrate a potential business model to innovate, implement and create social impact, looking for scale and sustained business model.

The program incubates early to growth stage For-profit and Non-Profit ventures with high-growth potential to build scalable models for sustained impact. ​ 

What are the eligibility criteria to apply?

For-Profit and Nonprofit Tech-enabled registered ventures that have been in operation for more than a year with a sustained social impact meeting the following criteria: 

  • Early revenue to Growth stage, with proven POCs or Pilots   
  • Tech-enabled/ tech-driven or digitally inclusive innovations solving social problems   
  • Impact First ventures with the direct potential to impact at least 3 SDGs   

 

Is there a specific industry or sector preference for the Tech-enabled Social Innovations Program?

Impact Orbit is sector agnostic and is open to support tech innovations with a sustained social impact. Our sectors in focus include but are not limited to: 

  • Education  
  • Health  
  • Livelihood  
  • WASH  
  • Water and Climate  
  • Agriculture  
  • Gender equality  

 

What kind of value & support can I get from the Impact Orbit- Tech-enabled Social Innovations Program?

How can I apply for the Impact Orbit - Tech-enabled Social Innovations Program?

What is the duration of the Incubation?

The program’s duration may vary depending on the cohort and specific program objectives, but it generally ranges from 8/9 months. 

 

What does the selection process look like for the program?

There is a 3-step selection process: 

  • Fill out an online application form, submitting relevant documents and pitch deck 
  • Shortlisted candidates have an internal round of review with program team  
  • Further shortlisted candidates undergo an external panel review involving a 6/7 min pitch.
Can I apply for a program if my venture is at an early stage or still in ideation phase?

The program may accept ventures at various stages of development, but preference may be given to those with a revenue or pre-revenue stage. If you are an idea stage venture, we would recommend checking our Launchpad program.  

Is there any cost associated with participating in the Impact Orbit Program?

The program doesn’t have any kind of fee structure or other financial considerations. We don’t charge any kind of fees or equity from the founder. 

What happens after I submit my application?

    After submitting your application, it will be reviewed by the program selection committee. Shortlisted applicants may be invited for further evaluation, which may include interviews or presentations.

     

    What is the process for receiving funding or investment through the Impact Orbit Program?

      The program may offer funding opportunities through grants & impact investors connect, but the specifics will depend on individual venture needs and program resources.
